W poszukiwaniu straconej historii, czyli książka o antropologii historycznej

Abstract

The text is a revue of the Czech edition of the book "Historicka antropologie. Vyvoj. Problemy. Ukoly" of a German historian of culture Richard von Dulmen. The book is a compendium of knowledge concerning historical anthropology. The author asks questions, formulates the most crucial problems and draws perspectives for this current in the research of culture. The theories of von Dulmen for many years have greatly influenced methodics of the study of culture history especially that of modern times. Yet his works are still not present in Poland what results in a considerably poor condition of the Polish historical anthropology (with a few exceptions) and in lack of use of the study paradigms characteristic for this current in the reconstruction of the past.
